DIM Mode allows you to configure intelligent dimming schedules. The light operates at full brightness for an initial period, then switches to a reduced brightness level (30%-70%) for the remainder of the night, and returns to full brightness before dawn.
DOD limits how much of the battery capacity can be used. Lead Acid batteries typically have a 60% DOD limit to extend lifespan, while Lithium batteries can safely use up to 90%. The calculator adjusts the available energy based on your DOD setting.
The Energy Table provides a detailed daily breakdown showing battery state before dawn, daily charging, battery state before evening, daily discharging, DOD limits, and actual available energy for each day of analysis.
